Description

Independent auto dealership seeking talented Service Manager. You will work cooperatively with the service team to ensure customer service objectives are met while also maintaining the dealership standards and profitability. This will be done by building customer relationships and getting work done right the first time. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role.

Primary Job Responsibilities to Include:

  • Ensure every attempt is made to make the customer service experience a pleasant one.
  • Work as a team with other managers to meet store goals
  • Work with technicians to effectively communicate service work needs to customers
  • Meet individual goals and objectives as well as department goals
  • Ensure department goals and objectives are being met
  • Maintain daily, monthly and annual data as required by management.
  • Ensure department equipment is maintained at an appropriate level for daily use.
  • Ensure all technician flagged hours are appropriate.
  • Ensure all parts are purchased and posted according to the dealership policy.
  • Manage the service BDR and oversee promotions and campaigns to engage service customers.
  • Work to recruit technicians and porters as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Prior service manager experience or 5 years as assistant manager or service advisor

• A critical thinker with excellent analytic abilities

• Strong communication, customer service, leadership, and organizational skills

• A valid driver’s license.

Competitive Compensation based on experience and skills plus benefits package.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 to $80,000.00 /hour
