The ideal candidate will have experience managing a team who are paid and driven by their results. Must be able to encourage and motivate individuals to perform at their best while creating a team on a mission to exceed goals and expectations. Business development team members make the very important first impression made with most customers so only the highest level of customer service focused individuals should apply.

 

This manager will be expected to train, coach, encourage and motivate team members to make a large volume of outbound calls to set appointments with customers that have expressed an interest in business products. Team members also make follow-up calls with customers regarding prior products or services purchased to ensure the highest level of service.

 

As the manager of this department you will also ensure all required reporting is completed in a timely manner and submitted to the General Manager or other designated individuals.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure that the entire team provides an outstanding customer experience
  • Train staff to follow direction in showcasing company products and options
  • Ensure all team members maintain accurate customer records
  • Schedule team members to ensure peak hours have adequate coverage and all necessary hours are covered/
  • Conduct call audits and coach staff based on meeting call expectations
  • Meet department goals
  • Create and distribute department required reporting
  • Attend meetings as required of department managers
  • Be professional in dress and manner

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Computer skills
  • Ability to prioritize effectively; strong organizational skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4 yrs experience in a training and/or management role
  • 2 yrs prior outbound call center experience.
  • High school education or equivalent
