Experienced manager wanted!

The ideal candidate will have experience managing an automotive Business Development team that is paid and driven by their results. This growing dealership is ready to add a Business Development center to their operation and in need of a hands-on, motivated call center manager to build this department from the ground up. Initially, you will be department of one, working alongside the sales team until a smooth process of handling leads is achieved. Then you will be expected to begin building a team of high performers.

Once the department is established, this manager will be expected to hire, train, coach, encourage and motivate the business team members to perform at their best while creating a team on a mission to exceed goals and expectations.

As the manager of this department, you will also ensure all required reporting is completed promptly and submitted to the General Manager or other designated individuals.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the entire team provides an outstanding customer experience
  • Hire and staff the department to meet company goals of production while managing cost.
  • Train staff to follow direction in showcasing company products and options
  • Willing to make a large volume of outbound calls to set appointments
  • Ensure all team members maintain accurate customer records
  • Take TO's from your team members to help convert leads to shows.
  • Conduct call audits and coach staff based on meeting call expectations
  • Set and meet department goals
  • Create and distribute departmental required reporting
  • Attend meetings as required of department managers
  • Be professional in dress and manner

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced Computer skills
  • Ability to prioritize effectively
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • High school education or equivalent

 

REQUIREMENTS:

5 yrs experience in a training and/or management role

3 yrs in automotive call center environment preferred

Must be able to work set number of Saturdays per month, no Sunday work.

Base Salary plus bonuses.
