Job Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee activities of the Sales Department.
- Formulates sales goals, plan of action and ensure execution of those plans and goals
- Hire and train the sales team
- Desking and evaluating credit - prime & subprime
- Plan and execute marketing
- Manage day to day operations of the dealership
- Encourage, engage and motivate all team members
- Appraise trades
- Ensure inventory is reconditioned to standards and ready for sale
What are the job requirements?
- 5 years of experience in a Sales Manager or prior GSM role.
- Solid verifiable employment
- Must enjoy working with customers of all credit levels
- Proven track record of success in the automotive industry.
- Proven leadership experience.
- Desking talent & ability to maximize profits in every transaction.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong negotiation/closing skills.
