In search of a confident, skilled trainer with a strong understanding of finance and insurance products to join the team. This is not a sales position, but a training position!

This is a unique opportunity for a true F&I trainer. You will be responsible for working with a small group of assigned dealerships to improve the skills of their finance staff. You will be expected to develop strong relationships with the dealerships you are assigned and provide a high level of service to them.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the automotive F&I office with some training experience. This individual will be able to assist customers in increasing F&I PVR, product penetrations, and CSI. This person must be well versed in F&I training and will ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

Some overnight travel is required. Must live in this market region to properly service. You will be traveling between several dealership rooftops in your region.

Responsibilities to Include:

  • Travel to dealerships to train and demonstrate proper processes to dealership personnel.
  • Develop and maintain long-term dealer relationships with assigned accounts.
  • Provide support to dealership F&I Directors
  • Train and develop both seasoned and inexperienced F&I managers
  • Train and manage F&I menu and reporting
  • Monitor and maintain compliance program
  • Plan and conduct group training sessions on ethical sales techniques
  • Providing onboarding and ongoing training of dealership F&I personnel
  • Possess and communicate in-depth product knowledge
  • Work with dealership service departments on claims procedures
  • Act as liason between service and customer for any issues regarding service claims related to products.
  • Work with accounting department on policies and procedures related to products sold from finance office.
  • Create annual forecast for each rooftop they are responsible for.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years’ retail automotive experience as F&I Manager
  • Prior F&I dealer development or training experience is a preferred
  • Proven experience in training individuals and groups
  • Computer skills (Word, Power Point, Excel)
  • Experience with multiple dealer DMS is preferred.

Compensation range $70,000 - $110,000 plus health, dental, life, 401K and PTO and more.
