General Sales Manager - Automotive
Small franchise auto dealership looking for leader, coach and full team player to manage variable operations
Job Duties may include:
- Financial management of the sales and finance operation.
- Setting goals for each member of your team and helping them achieve them.
- Working with sales team members to ensure proper handling of all dealership customers
- Training the sales team on dealership processes.
- Working with customers to answer questions about the sales process and overcome objections.
- Working with finance team to ensure dealership goals are met.
- Working to make sure all opportunities are explored with every customer.
- Working effectively with the service department to ensure both internal and external customers are handled properly.
- Ensuring factory mandates are met.
- Ensuring all team members are current on any and all franchise training/certification required.
- Trade appraisals
- Ability to desk and close deals, as well as back up finance.
- Manage CRM, ensuring sales staff is using and maintaining all dealership required data.
- Ability to review data and make business decisions based on facts.

- Ability to coach and train sales personnel to maximize every lead opportunity.
- 5 years of Sales Manager or higher experience preferred.
- Prior experience in import, luxury or high-line store preferred.
