Auto dealership has an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced accounting professional to join their growing team.  The best candidate will love a fast paced environment and have an exceptional grasp of complex transactions. This individual will perform key day-to-day functions while learning the business with an advancement opportunity to the controller position.

Job Responsibilities May Include:
• Daily processing of A/R and A/P
• Calculating and processing complex commission statements for payroll
• Properly recording sales transactions
• Executing proper internal controls
• Assisting with general ledger work to properly prepare monthly financial statements in a timely manner
• Work with the controller to review and clear any discrepancies.
• Ability to develop and lead accounting staff.
• Work with dealership management to improve revenue or reduce expenses
• Manage and safeguard assets and ensure proper financial reporting controls
• Assist with additional financial analysis or reporting as directed by controller
 

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Accounting degree
• 3 + years’ minimum experience required
• Proven experience with complex accounting transactions
• A critical thinker with excellent analytic abilities
• Strong communication, customer service, leadership, and organizational skills
• A valid driver’s license.
• Prior Automotive experience will be given additional consideration
